Weedeliver ("Weedeliver," "we," "us," or "our") operates a licensed-dispensary delivery marketplace serving the Washington, DC / Maryland / Virginia (DMV) area at weedeliver.cc and through our mobile and installable web app (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
Age and identity verification: date of birth and, where required by state law or by a merchant, confirmation of a valid government-issued ID or medical marijuana card. We do not store scanned copies of your ID unless a specific verification flow discloses otherwise at the time of collection.
Order information: items purchased, order history, delivery instructions, and communications with merchants or drivers related to your order.
Payment information: payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers or card verification codes (CVV) on our servers.
Location information: your delivery address and, with your permission, device location, used to show nearby licensed dispensaries and enable order tracking.
Usage and device information: pages viewed, actions taken in the app, browser/device type, and IP address, collected automatically to keep the Service secure and working correctly.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and verify you meet the legal age/medical-patient requirement to purchase cannabis products in your state.
To process, fulfill, and track your orders with the licensed dispensary (merchant) and driver involved.
To provide customer support, respond to inquiries, and send order-related notifications (order confirmations, delivery updates).
To operate loyalty/rewards features you opt into.
To maintain the security, integrity, and performance of the Service and prevent fraud.
To comply with applicable cannabis-licensing, tax, and consumer-protection laws.

3. How We Share Information

We share the minimum information necessary with:

Licensed dispensary merchants fulfilling your order (order contents, delivery address, and age/ID verification status as required by their license).
Delivery drivers assigned to your order (delivery address, contact information needed to complete the delivery).
Service providers who help us operate the Service (payment processing, cloud hosting, SMS/email delivery), under confidentiality obligations.
Regulators and law enforcement when required by applicable cannabis-licensing or other law.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Age Restriction

The Service is intended only for individuals who are at least 21 years old, or who are at least 18 with a valid medical marijuana card where state law permits. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone who does not meet this requirement.

5. Driver Location Data

Our driver app collects a driver's device location ("Location Data") while a driver is signed in and GPS is enabled, including in the background, in order to assign nearby deliveries and give customers accurate order tracking. We store Location Data at the start of a delivery, at arrival, and at completion; this stored history is erased once it's no longer needed. Location Data stops being collected once a driver signs out.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, understand how the Service is used, and (where applicable) measure the performance of our own marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the Service. See our Cookie Notice for details.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we continually work to improve our protections.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain data uses. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with our legal, tax, and cannabis-licensing recordkeeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
